I had a chance to stop by Remixed Salon to meet Desirae and Barette. Both are Florida transplants from Las Vegas. Desirae is an animal lover, and a self-described “Tomboy in Stilettos”. Desirae is a florist by trade, but has been doing hair since 2003.

Barette is a licensed cosmetologist for 16 years, and loves beaches and mermaids.

As you can see, Remixed certainly reflects a fun, beachy, and upscale vibe, as well as an adorable cross-dressing dog named Kilo!

Plus, you can get more than a cut and color! Remixed Salon offers facials, body painting, mani/pedis, full fusions, eyelash extensions, and airbrush make-up.

“But I have the kids, and it’s too hard to find a sitter!”
